Birds and Alligators at High Island and Anahuac NWLR

When: 7:30 am on Tuesday, April 7th

Cost: $10 plus some gas money for the drivers and for your lunch

What is planned: We will head down to the coast with a quick stop at Shoveler Pond in the Anahuac NWR and then down to Smith Oaks at High Island.

This week should be good as nests have been built and eggs laid so hopefully we will see chicks in some of the nests.

We will head home around noon and stop in Winnie for lunch before heading home. I'd suggest bringing snacks, water and plenty of bug spray and of course your camera gear!
