Caddo Lake From Sunrise to Sunset

We have an exciting trip planned for fall, 2026! We are booking some boat tours on Caddo Lake with professional guide, Rich McFarland. Caddo Lake is considered to be the only natural lake in Texas and was formed in the late 18th century by a massive log jam on the Red River that flooded the low lying area to create this lake that lies in Texas and Louisiana. We toured with Rich in 2024 and had a great time.

Rich will provide sunrise and a sunset tours on November 1st and 2nd which is typically the most colorful time of year as well as most dramatic time of the day to shoot. He recommends no more than 10 people on his pontoon boat so there is ample room for photographers to take pictures without obstruction.
