Houston Cisterns Illuminated

Join us on January 17th for a tour of the old Houston Cisterns with holiday lighting. This is a fun event we did a few years ago.

Take a luminous journey through light and sound this holiday season with Cistern Illuminated. This multi-sensory art experience transforms the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern into a transcendent spectacle of color, echo, and optical illusion.

We plan to leave Kingwood First Baptist Church around 10 am to be at the venue by 11. Tickets can be purchased online and are $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors and military. As planning for the event unfolds we will try to do some other things as well in this area. There is a large skate park and other things to see. We can also get some lunch before heading back to Kingwood.
