Dickens On the Strand In Galveston!

Our December photo field trip is to Galveston for the annual Dickens on the Strand festival. For more than half a century, families and festivalgoers have filled The Strand with holiday cheer, enjoying lively parades, roaming costumed characters, and a city alive with Victorian pageantry!
We will meet up at Kingwood First Baptist Church on Saturday, December 6th and carpool from there at 8:30 am to Galveston. The event opens at 10 am. There is a lot to see and photograph, you can even shop for holiday gifts and enjoy food from street vendors, and there is a parade at 2pm with everyone in costume walking The Strand and surrounding streets. We will return to Kingwood after that.
And the weather forecast for Saturday looks excellent!
Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate, cost is $32.45
