Lone Star College 2026 Exhibition Update
Now is the time to be choosing images for submission. You need to choose images that will make the appropriate size prints with the 4 aspect ratios allowed. They are: 1:1 or a 16" by 16" print 1:2 or a 10" by 20" print 2:3 or a 12" by 18" print 4:5 or a 16" by 20" print For digital submission just size your images like we do for Share & Learn, 2000 pixels on the long edge. February Share & Learn Theme Is Architecture

2026 Lone Star College Picture Exhibition
Our club has been invited again to submit images for their summer exhibition. This year the exhibition will be for our club and The Woodlands Photography Club! The dates for the show at the gallery are July 22 - September 2nd. As far as we know it is the same as last year, no themes or categories, just submit up to 8 of your best images for them to choose from. Donation Drive for Kingwood First Baptist Church
Our board recently met and agreed on giving a donation to Kingwood First Baptist Church for letting us use their facilities for several years at no cost to the club. They have an active youth group which often needs funds for trips as well as various mission groups. We voted to ask members to consider a contribution and the club match it, if at all possible. We are accepting donations until February 15 th at which time we will announce the total and present it to the senior

Membership Stats
We’re through with the bulk of our beginning-of-year membership renewals. Of 65 renewal notices sent out we got 55 renewals and ten members who let their memberships expire. We have nine more memberships expiring over the next two weeks. After this initial group memberships expire over the rest of the year in a more spread out manner, 12 months after they were purchased.
