Photo Field Trip to the Houston Cisterns

Join us on January 17th for a tour of the old Houston Cisterns with holiday lighting. This is a fun event we did a few years ago.

Take a luminous journey through light and sound this holiday season with Cistern Illuminated. This multi-sensory art experience transforms the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern into a transcendent spectacle of color, echo, and optical illusion.

We plan to leave Kingwood First Baptist Church around 10 am to be at the venue by 11-11:30. Tickets need to be purchased online in advance and are $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors and military. There is a large skate park and other things to see nearby and photograph. We can also get some lunch before heading back to Kingwood.
