Shoot For The Stars Astrophotography Workshop on Saturday!

When: Saturday June 13th

Where: Kingwood Branch Public Library, in the Barbara Williamson Children's Activity Room

Time: 2 pm to 4:45 pm.

Cost: FREE!

If you have ever wanted to learn about how to capture the stars, planets and meteor showers with a camera, this workshop is for you! It is being led by Kathy and Mike Muhle who are our member experts on photographing all things star and space related! They will teach nighttime camera setup and a good guideline for basic camera settings.

We have a Photo Field Trip planned in August for Fredericksburg, Texas and Enchanted Rock State Park which is a "dark sky" park and a great place for astrophotography. This workshop is a great way to get ready for this trip or any other night sky trip you might do.
