Sunflower Fields West of Houston

When: Estimated for June 4th, 3 pm - 10 pm
Where: 13325 FM 60, Snook Texas (west of College Station)
Cost: No entry fee but you might tip your driver for gas
What to bring: camera and lenses and a step ladder
We will have more details as the date approaches, the date is a close estimate based on the cycle for blooming as well as good weather. Stay tuned for more information. Yes, 10 pm is late to get home but it's a 1 hour 45 minute drive and sunset is at 8:30 pm.
The Wilder Family Sunflower Farm is a local attraction just west of College Station. The field of flowers is large and best photographed just before and during sunset. We plan to leave early enough to beat rush hour traffic and get some dinner before going to the fields.
Members need to bring some step ladders as the sunflowers are around 6 feet off the ground and best shot at eye level or just above the flowers.
