Call for Entries x 2!

Members of our club has been invited to submit photos for two different Call for Entries with the East Montgomery County Improvement District. The first is for The Atrium Center and we have it listed as an Event on our Events webpage. You don't have to RSVP but the link is there for instructions on how to submit and a link to the submission form for your images. There is no central theme but in the past they have wanted images that represent Texas and the area around us. They can be people, landscape, wildlife or architecture, really they are open to a lot. If your digital submissions are chosen, you will need to have prints made and get a frame and mat. Most of us got ours on Amazon for $10-15 each, they were 16 x 20 inch black frames. The second Call for Entries is for the newly built Caney Pines Conference Center and is for black and white only. They are mainly interested in landscape, wildlife and architecture that is typical in our area, so that landscape at Yellowstone probably won't make the cut for this exhibition. They want digital submissions but they will make prints of the ones chosen so you do not have to do that or get frames. They have some specific instructions, send me a request and I can give you the pdf file. The important thing is that images are of a high resolution as they want to do some large prints to exhibit. You can set a price for your work, they actually have an acquisition budget. They are also requesting those who submit images indicate if they would like to be considered for being hired to do some additional photography at their discretion and they will pay you for that.

Unfortunately, the deadlines to submit are coming up quickly The Atrium deadline is October 31st. The deadline for submitting work for the Caney Pines Conference Center is October 23rd.
