Photo Field Trip to High Island for Bird and Alligator Photos

We will meet at the Baptist Church parking lot just before 7:30 am on Tuesday, April 7th and head down to the coast with a quick stop at Shoveler Pond in the Anahuac NWR and then down to Smith Oaks at High Island.

This week should be good as nests have been built and eggs laid so hopefully we will see chicks in some of the nests.

We will head home around noon and stop in Winnie for lunch before heading home. I'd suggest bringing snacks, water and plenty of bug spray and of course your camera gear!
