What: The Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk

Time: meet up at 7am at the church, head home after lunch at Star Pizza

Every year since 2008 on the first Saturday in October the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk has taken place. It's a call out for all photographers from beginners to pros to get out and meet up for a photo walk somewhere in their city.

This year I will lead a walk in and around The Ismaili Center which is part of a distinguished network of Ismaili Centers around the world, each offering a place for spiritual reflection, cultural exchange, and public dialogue. The architecture is really beautiful, with soaring vaulted ceilings, intricate details and many beautiful water features.

We will meet up at Kingwood First Baptist Church to carpool down to the center near Montrose and Allen Parkway. The center opens at 8 am so our goal is to be there early to have good light and avoid crowds as much as possible. After a few hours of walking around taking pictures we will stop at Star Pizza for lunch before heading back to Kingwood.
